Discover
In the discovery phase, we'll spend time learning more about your business and brand, goals, and target market. A strategy will then be set up.
Design
Once the strategy has been developed and the content has been received, the development and design work begins. You'll be kept updated often.
Launch
After your final approval and some last checks to make sure everything is working perfectly, it’s time to go live. Cue excitement and champagne (or coffee)!

There’s no point in having a generic website that doesn’t do what you need and want it to. I believe that your online platform is an investment in your business, that should, ultimately, pay for itself as quickly as possible.
A 50% deposit is required on starting the project. 30% will be payable once the final project design has been approved by you, but before the final checks to prepare your shiny new website for its grand entrance to the online world. When the balance of the remaining 20% has been paid, your website will go live. I’ve found that this system works well for everyone involved.

Lunr Digital doesn’t directly provide domain registration and hosting. However, there are a couple of domain registrars and hosting providers that I recommend. And I will help you with getting started, as well as the entire process if needed.
The website design process is dependent on a number of factors such as the type of website required (simple one-page, ecommerce, etc), and the scale of the project. It typically ranges between 4-8 weeks, but once I know what you’re looking for, I’ll be better able to let you know the time frame for the work.
Please note that the time is also dependent on the co-operation of the client. If the content for the website is ready and available as and when I need it, and the delays in communication and approval at different stages of the project are minimized, this will ensure faster turnaround times.
WordPress is the dominant website platform, and for good reason. It’s flexible and powerful, and ideal for small-to-medium-sized businesses.
Using this platform, your website can grow along with your business. This will allow you to have an unlimited number of pages and is perfect for growing and maintaining a blog (which is excellent for SEO). It’s also easy to keep your website updated yourself and make changes.
Your new website will be built and set up with SEO (Search Engine Optimization) best practices. The key elements of SEO will be integrated from the start in order to ensure that your website gets indexed as quickly as possible, and set up to capture traffic.
Initial keyword research will be done in order to get your descriptions, titles, and other important information to be visible to Google.
It’s a solid start, but in order to get maximum exposure on Google (and other search engines), SEO is an ongoing process. For this reason, I offer monthly SEO as either a standalone service for more comprehensive SEO, or as part of the “Grow” website care plan.

Yes! I offer initial WordPress training as part of the website design package. This will provide you with the tools to be able to add and manage posts, comments, media, etc, and update your site.
You’ll also receive a website “user manual” with all the important information you’ll need.
If you sign up for one of the website care plans, you’ll receive priority support for your website, and can rest assured that it’s in good hands.
Any big additional changes to the website (such as adding new pages, changing layouts, colours, etc) will be charged accordingly.
You do! Your website is not held hostage. This allows any other developer/designer to take over your website if that’s what you want and can be transferred to most web hosts. I want you to stay with me because you want to, not because you have to.
